Ducati India has expanded its flagship superbike lineup with the arrival of the Panigale V4 Tricolore, a limited-edition model celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1984 Ducati 750 F1. Priced at Rs 77,00,000 (ex-showroom), the motorcycle is restricted to just 1,000 numbered units worldwide, with only a small allocation reserved for the Indian market.
Technical Innovations and Track-Focused Hardware
The Panigale V4 Tricolore introduces several performance upgrades over the standard V4 S. It is the first production motorcycle to utilize the Front Brake Pro system, featuring 338.5 mm Brembo T-Drive finned discs with a 6.2 mm thickness, paired with Brembo Hypure calipers. To further reduce unsprung mass, the bike is equipped with five-spoke carbon-fibre wheels, which are 0.9 kg lighter than the forged units on the V4 S, resulting in a 12 percent reduction in front rotational inertia.
- Engine: 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4
- Power: 216 hp @ 13,500 rpm
- Torque: 90 ft-lb @ 11,250 rpm
- Wet Weight: 188 kg (without fuel)

Heritage-Inspired Design

Designed by Aldo Drudi in collaboration with Centro Stile Ducati, the motorcycle features an asymmetric Tricolore livery. The aesthetic combines the traditional red, white, and green of the Italian flag with black-and-white chequered accents. Each unit features a machined aluminum steering plate engraved with its unique production number, complemented by a matching ignition key and a certificate of authenticity.
Exclusive Equipment and Track Kit
The Tricolore variant comes standard with premium components including a dry clutch, adjustable billet aluminum footpegs, and extensive carbon-fibre bodywork covering the mudguards, swingarm, and alternator. For circuit use, Ducati includes a track-ready kit consisting of a racing fuel cap, brake air conveyors, and an open carbon-fibre clutch cover. Owners also receive a dedicated bike cover and a presentation box.
