Tata Motors has initiated its first sales campaign of 2026, offering cumulative benefits of up to Rs 85,000 across its internal combustion engine (ICE) lineup. These incentives, which include cash discounts, exchange programs, and loyalty bonuses, primarily target Model Year 2025 (MY2025) inventory. The move comes as the manufacturer prepares for fresh launches, including the updated Punch scheduled for later this month.
Flagship SUV Incentives: Harrier and Safari
The brand’s premium SUVs, the Harrier and Safari, carry benefits totaling Rs 75,000 for their higher-specification diesel variants. This package comprises a Rs 25,000 cash component and a Rs 50,000 exchange or scrappage bonus. While the diesel remains the primary focus for these offers, Tata has recently expanded the range with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. Ex-showroom pricing for the Harrier currently spans Rs 12.89 lakh to Rs 25.25 lakh, while the Safari is positioned between Rs 13.29 lakh and Rs 25.96 lakh.
Inventory Clearance: Altroz and Punch
The most significant price reductions are found on the pre-facelift Altroz, with Tata offering up to Rs 85,000 to clear remaining stock. In contrast, the recently updated Altroz facelift carries a more modest benefit of Rs 25,000. For the Punch subcompact SUV, buyers can avail up to Rs 40,000 in benefits on the outgoing model. This strategy aligns with the upcoming launch of the Punch facelift on January 13, which is expected to introduce a new turbo-petrol powertrain and revised styling.
Nexon, Curvv, and Entry-Level Models
The Nexon and the Curvv coupe SUV are also part of the January promotion. The Nexon features benefits up to Rs 50,000 across its petrol, diesel, and CNG iterations, while the Curvv is available with up to Rs 40,000 off. At the entry-level, the Tiago and Tigor receive benefits up to Rs 35,000, though the Tiago’s base XE trim is excluded from the scheme.
