Powertrain and Mechanical Enhancements

The most substantial change lies in the transmission options for the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. While output remains at 85 kW (115 PS) and 178 Nm, the unit is now paired with a segment-first eight-speed torque converter automatic or a six-speed manual. The 1.5-litre TSI engine, producing 110 kW (150 PS) and 250 Nm, continues to utilize a seven-speed DSG with Active Cylinder Technology. Notably, all 1.5-litre variants now feature disc brakes on all four wheels as standard.

Interior Upgrades and Technology

The cabin receives a premium overhaul, most notably with the addition of a panoramic sunroof and a segment-first massage function for the rear occupants. Cargo capacity has also seen a significant improvement, increasing by 106 litres to a total of 491 litres. Technology updates include:
- A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver.
- A 10.1-inch central infotainment touchscreen.
- Integration of Google Gemini AI for voice-activated functions and real-time information.
- Dual-color ambient lighting and six-way powered, ventilated front seats.

Design and Exterior Styling

The 2026 Kushaq adopts Skoda’s “Modern Solid” design philosophy. The front fascia features a redesigned grille with a segmented light bar, flanked by slimmer LED headlamps and L-shaped daytime running lights. At the rear, the SUV gains a full-width LED light bar featuring illuminated “SKODA” branding and sequential turn signals. The Monte Carlo edition continues as the flagship trim, distinguished by gloss black accents and a crimson interior theme, while new paint options include Cherry Red, Shimla Green, and Steel Grey.
