This mid-cycle update marks the first significant revision for the electric compact crossover since its initial launch in early 2024. While official details on specifications, design modifications, and feature enhancements are pending, industry speculation primarily points towards potential battery upgrades and subtle refinements across the vehicle.
Expected Design and Feature Enhancements
The Punch EV facelift is anticipated to feature a redesigned exterior, aligning with Tata’s contemporary design language. Observers suggest a refreshed fascia, a distinctive closed-off grille, and connected LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). Other exterior modifications may include a new set of alloy wheels and revised front and rear bumpers. The existing all-four disc brakes are expected to continue with the Long Range (LR) versions.
Inside, the Punch EV facelift could see more substantial upgrades. Potential enhancements include a larger 12.3-inch free-standing infotainment screen, a panoramic sunroof, and an upgraded Harman Kardon music system, possibly incorporating a subwoofer. Furthermore, there is speculation regarding the inclusion of Level-2 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), a feature recently introduced in other Tata electric vehicles like the Nexon EV.
