Honda India has implemented a series of price adjustments across its domestic portfolio for 2026, impacting the Elevate SUV, the City hybrid sedan, and both generations of the Amaze. These revisions follow similar upward price movements recently announced by other major manufacturers, including Toyota and Skoda.
Honda Elevate Pricing Adjustments
The Elevate midsize SUV has seen the most substantial increase at the entry-level. The base SV MT variant is now priced at Rs 11.6 lakh, following a Rs 60,000 hike. Other trims in the lineup have experienced more moderate adjustments:
- VX MT and CVT trims: Increased by Rs 13,600
- V, ZX, and ZX Black editions: Increased by a uniform Rs 10,000
The SUV’s price range now spans from Rs 11.6 lakh to Rs 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
City Hybrid and Upcoming Facelift
While Honda has maintained existing prices for the petrol-only City variants, the e:HEV strong hybrid model has undergone a price correction. The ZX CVT hybrid variant now costs Rs 20 lakh, an increase of Rs 52,000. This adjustment effectively offsets the GST 2.0 reduction the model received last year. Additionally, a second facelift for the City is scheduled for release in the second half of 2026.
Amaze: New Hikes and Old Model Discounts
The third-generation Amaze has received a flat price increase of Rs 7,000 across most variants, with the exception of the top-tier ZX CVT. The new price bracket for the compact sedan is Rs 7.48 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. In a strategic move, Honda continues to retail the second-generation Amaze alongside its successor. The older model’s entry-level S MT trim has received a significant price reduction of Rs 99,000, bringing its starting price down to Rs 5.99 lakh, while the S CVT pricing remains unchanged.
