Jeep India has introduced a new comprehensive ownership program, dubbed ‘Jeep Confidence 7,’ specifically for its Compass and Meridian SUV lineups. The initiative, announced on January 16, 2026, aims to improve the long-term value proposition for owners by offering a suite of financial and service-related protections for up to seven years.
Value Protection and Resale Guarantees
A central pillar of the program is the Assured Buyback (ABB) scheme, facilitated through authorized dealerships. This feature provides owners with a guaranteed resale value of up to 60% of the original ex-showroom price, depending on the vehicle’s age and mileage. This move is designed to mitigate the impact of market fluctuations on residual values. Additionally, Jeep has introduced an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with costs starting at approximately ₹38 per day, which the company claims can reduce scheduled service expenses for parts and labor by up to 33%.
Extended Coverage and Mobility Support
The Confidence 7 package extends the manufacturer’s warranty to a total of seven years, covering major mechanical and electrical components. This coverage is transferable to subsequent owners, potentially enhancing the vehicle’s marketability in the used car sector. To minimize downtime, the program includes several operational benefits:
- 7-Year Roadside Assistance (RSA): Nationwide support for long-distance travel.
- Courtesy Edge: Provision of a loaner vehicle or taxi support if non-accidental repairs or servicing exceed a 48-hour window.
- Express Service: Priority handling with a 90-minute turnaround time for specific maintenance jobs.
Pricing and Availability
The program is priced according to the model, with the Jeep Compass package starting at ₹41,926 and the Jeep Meridian package starting at ₹47,024. Beyond the service benefits, customers also receive a ₹2,000 voucher for official Jeep lifestyle merchandise. According to Kumar Priyesh, Business Head at Stellantis India, the program is intended to provide transparency and simplify the service experience for the brand’s premium SUV customers.
