Skoda Auto India has implemented a price adjustment for specific variants of its Slavia mid-size sedan. The revision, effective this month, introduces increases across several trims, with the highest hike observed at Rs. 33,690. This development precedes an anticipated facelift for the model, which is slated to debut later in the year.
Variant-Specific Price Revisions
The most significant price increases apply to the Slavia Monte Carlo 1.0 AT and 1.5 DSG variants, which are now dearer by Rs. 33,690 and Rs. 29,207, respectively. Other affected variants include:
- Prestige 1.0 AT and Sportline 1.5 DSG: Prices increased by Rs. 27,690 and Rs. 25,897, respectively.
- Prestige 1.5 DSG: Sees a premium of Rs. 23,207.
- Signature 1.0 and Sportline 1.0 (MT and AT): Prices hiked by up to Rs. 16,586.
Conversely, the prices for all other variants, including the entry-level Classiv 1.0 MT, remain unchanged. Following these adjustments, the Skoda Slavia”s ex-showroom price range now spans from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 17.99 lakh.
Powertrain Options
The Slavia continues to be offered with two turbocharged petrol engine choices:
- 1.0-litre TSI engine.
- 1.5-litre TSI engine.
These engines are paired with a selection of transmissions, including a six-speed manual, a seven-speed DSG automatic, and a six-speed torque converter automatic, depending on the variant.
Upcoming Model Update
Skoda Auto India is reportedly in the process of developing a facelift for the Slavia sedan. This updated model is anticipated to be unveiled later in 2024, potentially bringing design enhancements and feature revisions to the lineup.
