Nissan Gravite To Launch on February 17, Deliveries to Start in March

Nissan India has confirmed that its upcoming Gravite MPV will be officially unveiled on February 17, following a rescheduling from its initial January date. The manufacturer has indicated that customer deliveries are expected to commence in March, with a formal price announcement likely occurring in the final weeks of February.

Mechanical Specifications

The Gravite is built upon the same platform as the Renault Triber, inheriting its mechanical architecture. Powering the MPV is a 1.0-litre petrol engine, which will be available with both manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) options. This powertrain setup is designed to balance fuel efficiency with urban drivability.

Exterior Design and Styling

Nissan has provided a glimpse of the vehicle’s aesthetics through design sketches and teaser images. Key styling elements include:

  • Horizontal LED DRLs integrated within the headlamp clusters.
  • A front grille featuring a chrome slat and prominent “Gravite” lettering on the hood.
  • Split rear tail-lamps joined by a horizontal trim insert.
  • Centrally positioned branding on the tailgate.

Color Options and Availability

Upon launch, the Gravite will be offered in five exterior shades. A signature teal color will serve as the hero hue, accompanied by more traditional choices such as white, silver, black, and grey. Detailed information regarding specific variants and interior equipment levels is expected to be disclosed during the official unveiling event.
