- VinFast has officially shifted to its standard pricing model after a successful 4-month launch phase where they crossed the 1,000-unit sales milestone in India.
Vinfast India has implemented an upward price revision for its VF6 and VF7 electric vehicle models, effective immediately. This adjustment follows the conclusion of the introductory pricing period that began when the vehicles were launched in September last year. Depending on the model and variant, ex-showroom prices have increased by between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1.3 lakh.
Powertrain and Range Details
The VF6 remains available with a 59.6kWh battery pack across its three-variant lineup. In the Earth configuration, the front-mounted motor produces 177hp and 250Nm, while the Wind and Wind Infinity trims offer a higher output of 204hp and 310Nm. Range figures are rated at 468km for the Earth trim and 463km for the Wind variants. Fast charging via a 100kW DC station can replenish the battery from 10 to 70 percent in 25 minutes.
The larger VF7 offers two battery options and two drivetrain layouts. The entry-level Earth variant utilizes the 59.6kWh unit with 170hp, whereas the Wind and Sky trims move up to a 70kWh battery. The flagship Sky AWD variants feature a dual-motor setup delivering 353hp and 500Nm of torque. Range varies from 438km in the base model to a maximum of 532km in the mid-range Wind trim. Using a 110kW DC charger, the 70kWh battery can reach 70 percent capacity from 10 percent in 28 minutes.
VinFast has positioned these models as “premium-tech” SUVs. Even with the new prices, the cabin experience remains a differentiator:
- Minimalist Cockpit: A massive 12.9-inch touchscreen replaces the traditional instrument cluster, supported by a colored Head-Up Display (HUD).
- Luxury Touches: Panoramic glass roofs (Infinity trims), dual-zone climate control with PM1.0 air filtration, and vegan leather interiors.
- Safety: Full Level 2 ADAS suite (adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist) and a 360-degree camera come standard on higher trims.
